For the little toddler, hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity continues to improve. With better control over fingers and hands, the toddler can explore toys and surroundings more than before. She is now aware of the function of objects, and is more likely to e.g. stack blocks, or push a pram. The concept of pretend play also starts and for that different dolls or teddies are great.
